Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 20, 2026

Tritaps is designed to help you find recipients and send messages more easily while keeping your information private and on your device.

Tritaps does not sell, rent, or share your personal information. Tritaps does not use advertising, analytics, tracking tools, accounts, servers, cloud sync, or internet access for its core app features.

Tritaps does not collect or store your messages, contacts, recipient information, or personal data on Tritaps servers. Some information may be stored locally on your device so the app can work more conveniently.

Contacts

Tritaps may access your device contacts only if you give permission. Contact access is used locally on your device to help show recipient suggestions and make messaging faster.

Your contacts are not uploaded to Tritaps, sent to Tritaps servers, sold, or shared with third parties.

Group Link Export to Contacts

If you choose to export group links to Contacts, Tritaps may create or update contact entries on your device for those selected group links. This is optional and happens only when you initiate it.

Tritaps does not write contacts automatically, does not modify contacts in the background, and does not upload, sync, sell, or share your contacts or group links.

If your device has contact sync enabled, your device or connected account provider, such as Google or Samsung, may sync those contacts according to your device settings. Tritaps does not control or perform that sync.

Local App Data

When you type a message, choose a recipient, save a group link, select a preferred number, or set a country preference, that information is handled locally on your device.

Tritaps may store some settings locally on your device, such as recent recipients, preferred numbers, group names, group links, country choices, and draft text, so the app can work more conveniently the next time you use it.

You can remove locally stored Tritaps data by using app settings, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app.

Messaging Apps

Tritaps helps you open SMS, WhatsApp, or Telegram with your message ready to send.

When you choose to open another messaging app, Tritaps passes the message and recipient information to that app so you can review and send the message there. After that, the other app’s own privacy policy and terms apply.

Floating Icon and Overlay Features

Tritaps may request display-over-other-apps permission to show the floating quick-send icon or quick-send surface. This feature is used only to help you access Tritaps faster from other screens.

Tritaps may also show an ongoing notification while the floating icon or quick-send surface is active, as required by Android for foreground services.

No Internet Access

Tritaps is designed to work locally on your device. The app does not request internet permission and does not use app-owned internet connections to upload, download, track, analyze, or sync your data.

Website links, such as the privacy policy page, may open in your browser if you choose to open them. Those links are handled by your browser, not by Tritaps.

Children’s Privacy

Tritaps is not designed to collect personal information from children or from any user. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when needed. If changes are made, the effective date on this page will be updated.
